DK-Cetamol oral suspension

Composition

Paracetamol 120mg/5ml

Indications

• Treats mild to moderate pain, including headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat, menstrual cramps, and pain from injuries.
• Reduces fever.
• Supports the treatment and relief of symptoms of colds and flu.

Dosage and Administration

Dosage

• For fever reduction after immunization in 2, 3, and 4-month-old infants:
  • Dosage: 2.5ml/dose.
  • Maximum 4 doses per day, at least 4 hours apart; start at the time of immunization.
  • If the child needs to use this medicine 2 days after immunization, consult a doctor.
• Infants aged 2-3 months (weighing over 4kg and born after 37 weeks): For the treatment of pain and other causes of fever: 2.5ml/dose. If necessary, after 4-6 hours, take a second dose.
  • Do not use for infants under 2 months old.
  • Each dose should be at least 4 hours apart.
  • Do not use more than 2 doses. If the child still has a fever after 2 doses, consult a doctor or pharmacist to rule out serious infections that require early diagnosis.
• Infants aged 3-6 months: 2.5ml/dose
• Infants aged 6-24 months: 5ml/dose
• Children aged 2-4 years: 7.5ml/dose
• Children aged 4-8 years: 10ml/dose
• Children aged 8-10 years: 15ml/dose
• Children aged 10-12 years: 20ml/dose
• Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.
• The minimum interval between two doses is 4 hours.
• Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Side Effects

Pregnancy: Epidemiological studies during pregnancy have shown that the use of paracetamol at recommended doses does not cause any adverse effects. However, patients should consult their doctor before using the drug.

Lactation: Paracetamol is excreted in breast milk but no clinically significant symptoms have been reported. Available data do not contraindicate the use of paracetamol in breastfeeding women.

Storage

Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature below 30°C.

Packaging: Box of 1 bottle of 40ml, box of 1 bottle of 60ml

Shelf life: 36 months from the manufacturing date. Do not use the product more than 30 days after opening the bottle for the first time.
