Dr. Tran Van On, Associate Professor, was born on August 3, 1966, in Phu Luong District, Thai Nguyen Province
Graduated with honors from Hanoi University of Pharmacy
Successfully defended the Master's thesis as a lecturer at the Department of Botany, Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
He became one of the few Vietnamese scientists to receive a Ph.D. in the field of medicinal plant conservation.
He was conferred the title of Associate Professor

With his profound knowledge and dedication to the pharmaceutical industry, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van On has made significant contributions to its development. In addition to being a senior lecturer and former Head of the Botany Department at Hanoi University of Pharmacy, he also serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Vietnam Botanical Society. He previously held the positions of Chairman and Director of Duoc Khoa Pharmaceutical Company - Hanoi University of Pharmacy (now DK Pharma Joint Stock Company)
With over 30 years of dedicated research, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van On has achieved remarkable accomplishments in the field of preserving and developing valuable medicinal plants. He is the author of more than 70 scientific papers published in prestigious domestic and international journals and has completed over 15 research projects that have been successfully applied in practice. Additionally, he has contributed to the compilation of textbooks for various academic levels.
