M.Pharm. Vu An Phuong

Master of Pharmacy Vu An Phuong has been involved in scientific research with lecturers from the Department of Pharmaceutical Industry since her time at Hanoi University of Pharmacy. She has received in-depth training in formulation and product development.

Master Phuong has participated in numerous research projects, including:

• A comprehensive review of anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, and anti-pigmentation cosmetics from herbal sources (2009)
• Orientation on the synthesis of chlorambucil (2011)
• Synthesis and biological activity evaluation of imidazole derivatives (2012)
• Ministry of Health-funded project: “Research on the production of a preparation to support the treatment of diabetes from large-leaved Gymnema (Gymnema latifolium Wall. ex Wight.)”;
• Ministry of Health-funded pilot production project: “Improvement of cultivation technology, production of standardized extract, and product production from Gymnema sylvestre (Retz.) R.Br. ex Schult. to support diabetes treatment”
• Ministry of Health-funded project: “Research on the formulation process of dry extract and film-coated tablets from imported Gymnema”
• Ministry of Health-funded project: “Research on the implementation of technical processes for cultivating and producing products from imported Job’s tears” (2015-2017).
